Flags of Touhou: Seija Kijin

Libya got away with having a national flag that was solid green up until 2011. Therefore I'm allowed to get away with making a flag that looks like a kaleidoscope. 

This is my design of a flag for Seija Kijin, the 5th stage boss of Touhou 14: Double Dealing Character. She is an amanojaku, a type of youkai that is similar to the oni. Her power is, according to Touhou Wiki, "to turn things upside-down." Frequently, it's also translated as the ability to flip things. During her fight she will flip and/or rotate the screen as part of her spell cards, making it incredibly difficult even compared to other Touhou games, at least to me. Seija is written with the characters for "right and wrong." Kijin is written with the characters for "oni" and "person."

1. Black and white represent flippable opposites. Red represents political revolution (as it did in real-life Russia and China), as her ambition is to create a society in which the weak rule the strong.

2. Arrows represent her ability. This flag has the most logical construction out of all of them. You can flip this flag across the vertical and horizontal axes and it will remain the same. The same goes for any axis that passes through the center, as long as you interpret the design as a square instead of a rectangle. The flag also has rotational symmetry every 45 degrees. That's pretty much the only thing remarkable about it. Other than that it follows the aesthetics of Seija's clothes.

I'm just pumping out as many flags as I can before I head off for my first year of college in a few days. Not sure if I'll be able to keep these up at the same rate after that.
